Novar is currently working with the Noordhollandse Energiecoöperatie on the development of solar farm Koningspade in the municipality of Opmeer. The project site is located between the Langereis, the Westerboekelweg and the Koningspade. The location where the solar farm is planned consists of agricultural land and has an area of about 20 hectares, of which grossly about 13 hectares are covered with solar panels. By means of 36,000 panels, sustainable energy will be generated to provide green power to over 7,900 households.
The construction of solar farm Koningspade will make a major contribution to the sustainability ambitions of the municipality of Opmeer and the province of North Holland. The installed capacity of the solar farm is approximately 22 MWp, which is expected to generate approximately 22.7 MWh per year of sustainably produced electricity. If you have any questions about the project, please contact project leader René Jurgens, r.jurgens@solarfields.nl or tel +31 6 217 19 003.
