Novar obtained the necessary permits for solar farm Nude II - Wageningen at the end of 2022. Together with ecologists and local residents, the best possible infills for the farm are now being considered.

In the Regional Energy Strategy (RES), the Foodvalley region has set the goal of generating at least 0.75 TWh of renewable energy by 2030. Solar farm Nude II - Wageningen hopes to make a good contribution to this in the coming years.
The location of the solar farm
The farm is located southwest of Wageningen. Just above the N225 (Lawickse Allee) and east of the Zijdvang.
How can residents participate?
After a successful development at Solar farm Molenwaard - Hoogezand, Novar has had frequent discussions with the same landowner 'the Klokgroep' about project de Nude II. Besides the development of a solar farm, an industrial park is being developed on this plot. In the future, Novar wants to help the companies located here make their businesses more sustainable. Next to the solar farm is a mitigation area with which a link will be made to the solar farm. This is done in consultation with the surrounding area and ecologists from Eelerwoude.
Solar farm Nude II - Wageningen has an area of about 4.5 hectares. With a capacity of 4 MWp, it can generate enough renewable energy for about 1,200 households.

By the end of 2022, Novar has obtained all the necessary permits. This means the Financial Close can be targeted after which construction of the farm can begin!
