1.416Solar panels on the roof
331.000kg less CO2 emissions per year
158Households provided

Novar has installed a total of nearly 1,500 panels at this location is Oosterzee for the realization of solar roof Westeind. Novar went through this process together with Protium. The solar roof has a total capacity of 552 kW.

The farm sheds whose roofs were used to install solar panels were not initially designed to handle the extra weight of the solar panels. Eventually, the structure of the stables was reinforced and then construction of the solar roof could begin!

How does this solar farm contribute to the energy transition?

The solar roof on the farm buildings in Oosterzee consists of nearly 1,500 panels with a combined capacity of more than 550 kW. By putting this solar roof into operation, annual emissions of over 330 tons of CO² will be saved. The generation from the solar roof is enough to provide 158 households with green electricity every year!
