A sustainable indoor activity center

ZERO55 is a new indoor activity center in Apeldoorn and offers various indoor activities. These include an indoor and outdoor E-kart track, two mini escape rooms, several glow-in-the-dark bowling alleys and a laser tag area. The ZERO55 building is managed by Accres. Accres operates and manages the property and provides services in the areas of meeting, recreation, discovery and sports for the municipality of Apeldoorn. Novar has realized a solar roof on this building of nearly 1,000 panels in total. The solar roof went into operation in April 2021 and has been providing enough power to supply 115 households ever since!

How does this solar farm contribute to the energy transition?

With nearly 1,000 solar panels, ZERO55's solar roof accounts for a generated annual capacity of 400,000 kWh. In addition to an annual reduction of 241 tons of CO², the amount of energy produced by the solar roof can supply 115 households with green electricity every year!
